The Seersucker is obtained thanks to know-how mastered by our manufacturing teams: slack-tension weave. Very tight warp threads and other looser ones during weaving are alternated to obtain the embossed appearance. 

This unique texture has exceptional natural properties. The Seersucker is thermoregulating: its relief limits contact with the skin and lets air circulate freely. Thus, the garment never sticks, even in high heat. Finally, thanks to its structure, this fabric is naturally wrinkle-free. 

Hartford uses a Seersucker of Cotton from partner weavers in Portugal and Spain. With an optimized weight of 145 g/m², this fabric is the reference for summer shirts. Its particularity lies in its weaving alternating smooth and embossed strips, creating a natural distance from the skin that promotes air circulation. Certified OEKO-TEX® 100, this Cotton guarantees total compliance with ecological and health standards, while offering impeccable wear without ironing.
